This roll up of more than 150 electrical and mechanical contracting companies, in 200 locations, with 8,000 key employees needed
a way to communicate across their enterprise. Adding to the challenge, the company had no common technology platform and
a very overloaded IT department. |

Solution
The Web Department created a database-driven, content managed Virtual HQ intranet and extranet for Encompass. The communications
team handles most of the content updates with no programming assistance through the easy-to-use content management system
(CMS). The Website also boasts a robust online travel system, document collaboration system, dynamically driven organization
charts, calendars and much more.
Result
Across the very distributed company, employees now have access to a central repository for all internal news, corporate branding
information, services directory and other key internal communications.
